I bought a 250 mw red laser from o-like. It worked fine for a few minutes but suddenly stopped working. Instead of a bright red beam the beam turned dim and doesn't shine at all. It is barely visible.

the batteries new and charged? sounds like your laser died but its easy to check the batteries first
did you leave it on for 5 minutes or more without turning it off? also they often send dead batteries as he said try to charge them ... if both of these fail,, it sounds like bad news,, i had a red laser for a year or more and then it suddenly went dim.. and was dead,, but a few minutes,,,

the battery's are fully charged but it still doesn't give out more output than a cheap dollar store laser.

sounds like another case of chinese quality......you should have already contacted the seller prior to posting here

i did but i have not gotten a reply. According to this forum o-like was a good seller but the laser is dead and i have received no response. I believe I'm being ignored.

i sent the complaint around six pm yesterday. i also read on here recently some other members have had this same problem with o-like.

o-like isnt a trusted site as of lately IMO. i havent seen a ton of reviews on them and frankly i mostly ignore companies who sell lasers since the quality sucks compared to those of this site. if it is indeed dead and you want to buy a new one let me know. just finished a 650nm build or i could custom build you one.

well thank you. i do want to buy a better higher quality laser and was thinking of getting a nano from wicked lasers. do you have any better sites to buy from?

OMG WL would be a step in the wrong direction! A better site to buy from would be this place called laserpointerforums.com, you are at the better site! most of the time members here sell their own builds for better prices than those Chinese sellers and they are 500x the quality as well!

well you wont get that in a 650nm. whats the reason for having a 1W laser? do you even have proper safety glasses?
