Ok so i ordered a LPC-826 from olike
300-400mW brand new red laser diode/extracted from LPC-826 [OL-826] - $9.99 : Welcome to O-Like.com, Your source for laser products
and tomorrow i will pick it up from the post office and connect it to some old driver and post some pictures ok happy ?

hes excited to have something other than 445nm
thats all i hear about.
Even if its short i like seeing the other colors too...
just dont ask me why i own 35+ 445nm lasers myself....

the diode and now time to connect it

So 1 lil question , can i run it on 600mA max ! or should i keep it @ 450 - 500 mA for a long lifetime ?

I am making a pic photo now @ 140 mA i can do it with this driver 190 max ( better driver will come soon )

But @ 550mA that means it will last long or is 550 pushing it to the near maximum ?

I'm not running the 826 with no heatsink lol i know that it will damage the diode

Mine is running @ the diode 2,96 Volt 470mA and burns trough white paper focused
@ Fiddy Is that normal and are the numbers right ?
