ok im looking to build a long open can red burner in a small project box or something like that, i wanna run it at around 400-410mA do i need a heatsink, and if i do, where can i get a cheap one that will work for my application (i dont need a $20 custom made one just something that lets me do what i need to) i saw modules with mini build in heatsinks, that werent press fit for the diode they had a locking ring that holds em in.

last question, how far can i push an axiz module with a 16x burner from darklasers, its running at 300mA now and not even getting warm

You will definitely need a heatsink of some kind. The best ones are machined from aluminum and fit the module almost exactly, but you can get away with some washers that are drilled out to match the diameter of the module.

im not asking for a continuous duty cycle, just enough to flip it on for like 10-15 seconds then let it cool

The LPC does get hot fairly fast in only an Aixiz module, if you want to be able to use it for decent amounts of time you will want a heatsink. Even just 20 seconds at 420mA in a plain Aixiz module will get warm.
