Never though this day would come, but as of this morning I am finally having a Laboratory Grade laser being built for me!

Expect a review in a few weeks but I am very, very excited & amazed at how I've gone from pointers, to handhelds & finally....Lab Lasers!

I decided to get the 100mW version as this is my first high powered unit in awhile & didn't want to come in getting more power then what I'm comfortable with!


Thank you everyone for sticking with me & answering all my paranoid questions :)

Are you talking about Alex? Or kids in general? I am glad to see him moving up.

Alex, you are far too paranoid, I don't even use safety glasses with a 100mW except in certain cases, but I would be careful with one.

I assume this is shipping from China and you won't have it for another month? Good though to see you so excited about getting it.

Yeah I'm pretty hyped for it! I was told 2 weeks for production then 1-2 for shipping. It's going to be very strange owning such a laser, just going to be very strange indeed :)

PS: With 5% stability, this means the power shouldn't shift more then 5mW's correct?

Not really sure what advantages you get with these since I'm still a noob at this. Have seen some extremely powerful ones and they look awesome btw. Congrats on the Purchase Must be exciting :)
