Hi!

First of all: Sorry for my bad English (I'm from Germany).

I'm new in this forum but I've already read some threads.

Now I wanna build a 660nm Laser with those parts:

DIODE:
LPC-815 20x DVD burner laser lens assembly w/ red laser diode [LPC-815] - $10.49 : Modwerx Shop

MODULE:
Laser module w/ heatsink and AR coated glass lens (635-670nm) [LFM2] - $12.99 : Modwerx Shop

DRIVER:
Adjustable laser diode driver circuit(assembled)Red or Blu-ray! - $15.99 : Modwerx Shop

Do they all match together??

Or do you have any ideas for better parts?

Where should I put them in?

In this ALUMINIUM BOX:
Stinger - SGN11 Stinger - Fixed Line Output Converter - 12 Watt || ZUBEHÖR > Radiozubehör > High Low - Adapter | Toms-Car-Hifi.de

Or in this FLASHLIGHT:
9 LED Mini Flashlight - Insaneware Deluxe

Please help me!
:thanks:

yeah all of those will work but you will also need a test load (also at modwerx) to set the correct current w/ a multimeter. it is also note worthy that although lpcs are very popular and normally work well, some times they die right wen they are hooked up (look around) but in most cases they are very good. make sure you short those caps!

hope this helps

p.s. i have no idea about the box vs. flashlite i think it is mostly personal preference

Modwerx is just reselling the RKCSTR driver, look under the laser pro shop and read rkcstr's thread, you can also use a flexdrive. If you dont know how to use, or what a test load is/does you need to do a little more research here on the forum about building your laser.
And the LPC's are a popular diode, however I just got one that was DOA...

here is a pic from another thread...
NOTE: you will need to bridge the 2 circles next to the RED setting get the right reading

do some looking around the safety section is pretty much all about goggles.
dragon lasers are probably the cheapest even with that shipping.

I got my goggle through one of Glenn's gb for CNI which will work for the LPC and blue (I was going to get the dragon lasers one but the OD 4 I wouldnt be able to see the dot from a phr.)
Hope this helps

Yeah, definetly the dragon lasers glasses, they are very good, and quality, I own 2 pair and love them, both the 650nm and the 532nm also protect from blu-ray as well.
And toogoofy, that is the point of safety glasses, you wouldnt want to see that beam when it accidently hits you in the eye now would you. And you prob dont need to use the glasses just playing around with a PHR(shining at NON reflective surfaces) but always use them for close up activitys.
