I'll second (or eleventh) the safety glasses. Besides the obvious safety reasons, you will be able to focus your beam because you can actually see it.

I just cranked mine up to about 300mW (est. by current applied by driver) and it lights fireworks faster than that. Same diode, same host even. Seriously get glasses, focus beam, be amazed all over again.
