Which direction to put 660nm glass lens?

EDIT: Silly me. Both ends have the AR coating. I really doubt either way makes a difference.

I got one of these for $10 from Kendall for use with the LPC diode but I'm not sure which direction to put the lens in. One side has the blue AR coating. Seems to me I should be putting this end towards the diode?

Thanks for the info. I've always put the spanner end down which for uncoated lenses wouldn't matter I guess. I'll be putting the coated lenses I bought a few months ago to use shortly and will make sure to put them in correctly now.

Coated or uncoated does not make a difference.
If the lens is in backwards, it is in backwards.

"points out" means "points out" otherwise it would "point in" towards the diode
