Building Help

Ok so i am going to be building my first laser soon. A nice blue ray one now i have a quick question about how to " assemble it"
im just going to list a few things correct them if they are wrong. ive been trying to read up on this stuff.

1) The laser diode goes into the axix module which can either have a glass or plastic lense

2) The diode drive that i would want to use would be a v4 flexdrive.

3) The heat sync that im milling goes around the axix case and inside the flashlight/host casing.

4) after that you just wire it up.

I dont really need any help with the driver/electronic side of things im pretty good with electronics. I just want to make sure that im not fogetting anything. And that when i go to assemble it everything will go together. Thanks for the help.

I don't think you have missed anything, but the host may be complicated to clean out the stuff inside, and it may not have enough space. If you are using a difficult host, you may have to supply your own buttons, switches, etc

Yea i havent choicen my host yet. havent found one that i really like. Thanks for the info

This is my favorite Blu-Ray build.  You could either buy everything from Jayrob, or just buy the components yourself and make it all.
