Building first laser

Well, it's looking like I'm going to be building a laser due to no longer being able to buy one from DX.

I have read many tutorials, but I cannot decide which one is the best for my abilities and budget. I would like a high-power laser (at least 150 mW, more is better) that is fairly cheap, and I don't know the best guide to follow because I don't know the exact parts required in each one. If somebody could give me a complete synopsis of parts required and a breakdown of price, that would be great! Once I can figure out how much power and money I am looking at for each tutorial, I can make a definite decision.
