I have no idea whether or not this is the right section to ask this, but, does anyone here know where to get some good prisms and glass balls? I'm kinda looking for the ones like what user Brucemir has:D I love his setup and I would very much like to find some places that I can at least get prisms and such at preferably cheaper prices.

Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated

Send Bruce a PM, I'm sure he'll help you out! I know ebay and amazon have many listings for glass spheres (crystal balls).

Hi Lildutchboy (and Bowtieguy),
I have gotten most of mine thru Amazon. The manufacturer is Amlong Crystal. Type that in search and you will see their catalogue. The range in size from 200mm (8") at about 100 dollars and weighs over 20lbs, down to 25mm (1"). I have a 200mm, 150mm, 100mm, 85mm, 50mm and 25mm that I use. They (and others on ebay too) also have different color tinted ones which look nice, but not for I what I use them for.
I also have a 4" green tinted glass sphere (my first) that I got on Mexico and still use every so often.

For prisms, my two big ones are from a LPF member, COCONUTS, who about 4 years ago was selling them. I wish I bought more at the time. I also have a few prisms from Edmund Scientific. Again, just search them in Amazon or ebay, Google and you will see there are many out there at good prices. Good Luck!

I am pretty sure I got her last prism. I think there were around 25 dollars which was a great price for the quality of them. When I starting using the first one I got and posting photos on LPF using it they went quick. I got at least 20 to thirty uranium marbles (small and large) from her too.

I'm always seeing cheap prisms on eBay, maybe too cheap for what you want.

Unrelated, but found this web page regarding simple laser tricks I thought I'd throw out there, the one with water looks like fun:

Thanks for the link to the simple laser tricks Alaskan, most of those look like they'd be fun to try.
It's amazing how many common things around the house will reflect, refract, or flouresce to provide some pretty cool looking effects.
A low power green pen can reveal a lot of unexpected results. Try that green pen on a bright yellow banana, it almost looks like it glows!
