Optics kit

Does anybody have an inexpensive optics kit that they would recommend?

I'm thinking something like wickedlasers's Wicked_Optics_Set_Expanded

as the price range. I plan on buying the goggles from them so this way I can
justify that shipping charge better

I saw that site, I guess that what scared me was the "may include" rather than a sense of knowing what would be in the kit. I guess you'd recommend the basic kit ?

I bought the Wicked Expanded Optics Kit (That's the globe lens in my avatar pic) and although it was pretty dusty when it arrived, all the bits seem to be good quality and the custom case is very good at keeping everything protected. The cleaning cloth from the goggles came in handy for polishing them as well.

That being said, I have done business with Jack at Optotronics and I have full faith in the quality of his kit. If you know what bits you want, I'm sure he'd put together a custom kit for you with a bias towards mirrors or prisms or lenses, whichever you require. Wicked will not do this. I would suggest emailing Jack and see what he's willing to do for you. He's very approachable and gives hands-on service, so you'll be in good hands.
