$30!

i bet you they're just cheapy crystals pulled out of a 5mW pointer...

stuart :)

I agree.

What exactly is "NDKTP" crystals? Doped KTP? I have never heard of such a thing, and I get nothing when googling it either.
Maybe it's two crystals bonded together.

I agree. $30 is way too high. You can rip them out of cheap green laser pointers. And then you get a 808nm diode too.
The big question is are they optically bonded or glued? If they are optically bonded then it is a good price as 100+mw green would be achievable

CORRECT!

Just look at some cheap ebay modules - all the parts are just screwed together... no magic to disassemble :eg:

The module I've bought from ebay looks like this one:

50mW 532nm 3.0-3.7V /Laser Diode Module/Green Laser bei eBay.de: Lab Equipment (endet 20.08.10 05:29:51 MESZ)

And there's no trick at all to get a lot of green out of these "combo" crystals! No other optics - just put the crystal in front of the diode...

I've added some pictures made some months ago (and the 808nm wasn't proper focused...)...
