Any tips or parts etc... I need this to stay in place, I would like to keep in place when I go for a walk at night.
I thought it might be good for tactical purposes, I can blind my attacker and run away.

Here in California we are very left-wing liberal state, we are not allowed to carry guns, mace, etc... we are basically not allowed to defend ourselves, hence why are crime is so high here compared to other states. The minuscus lens spreads the beam just enough to be able to blind someone quickly... But it drops out all the time... How can I keep it in place?

I don't think trying to blind the attacker with your laser will do any good.  He would probably just get very angry. Get some pepper spray instead or don't go out at night.

I would just stick it in his eye collimated, attackers deserve to die in the name of self defence in my opinion ::) It's also a risk that they take by themselves....

You can also buy a 700kV taser :D

Are you trying to hold the lens in a cap set?I read about someone saying that the meniscus lens is too small and he fixed this with some clear tape around the lens.

I have the nova lens holder and the meniscus lens would always fall through the hole, so i had to put tape around the edge as switch said.

i tried to get a photo but i only have a cell phone camera and it won't focus well enough to see. I just used some scotch tape and cut it so it was like an eighth of an inch wide, and then rolled the lens up in the tape so that the screws could make contact with the lens.
