I thought I'd post an image of my current laser test bench setup

Sorry, I can only wish, as this is the lab setup the University of Tokyo is using to "teleport quantum packets of light from one place to another"

hmm, you should have posted 'teleporting light', I wasn't going to really look at this thread just because of his title.. but the news you posted are.. incredible.

That is quite the assembly of optics, I remember reading about this quantum entanglement transportation a while back on slashdot, intriguing stuff. It will still be a while before we get to full Star Trek technology, but we are progressing.

A new post on slashdot today says that they were able to "teleport" quantum state from Australia to Japan. Progress...
