Where did qumefox go with his awesome AR coated acrylic lenses? They gave me an increase over the standard 3 element red lenses on my lpc's and didn't have g-1 splash.

Survival laser has AR coated acrylic lens for the red. I found that it has more artifacts around the dot than the standard acrylic lens.

hmm, odicforce would probably be better, coz i think they ship from the UK. still, if you take you guys price and convert to £, its almost the same, i dunno, ill sleep on it and make a decision tomorow.
thanks all

I didn't know you want a lens for the red laser SO BADLY :)

I have AR coated acrylic lens and 3-element glass from survival laser, 3-element glass from DTR, 808nm 3-element glass from O-like and 3-element glass from Moh and the G2 lens :D
Just say the word.

loool, i dont want it that bad, just need it, this is my first ever laser build, and i want it to have the best kits, but still not the best, otherwise i would have got a g1/2.
blord, which lens would you recommend is best for good power increase and good focusing thing (divergence??).
drop me a pm or something

Remember more elements means more reflections so more artifacts.
And glass > acrylic

For the best beam/dot use a single glass lens like G1/G2.
Then 3-element glass come next.
Last are the AR acrylic lens
And bring up the rear the uncoated acrylic lens.

But sometimes acrylic works better for other diodes.

Nono, I don't sell glass lenses. Buy the lens from DTR. He ships fast.

Artifacts are the internal reflections inside the lens barrel. Look around the dot. Same laser but different lens.

First is 3-element glass and second is G2 lens. The 445nm diode has a rather bad beam profile. The LPC-285 should do it better.

Odicforcelaser.com,s 635-670nm ar coated 3element is £4.50 and i think it gives a far better beam profile than the uncoated acrylic (aixiz) he also does 635-670nm AR coated single element acrylics for £1.20. iv not tried them but its so cheap id order one as well just to give one a go... my LPC 815 build at 480ma is still going strong with a beautiful cylindrical beam using my 3element ar coated glass from odicforce. pics on the LOC build with large copper heatsink thread...

hmm, i would, but im saving up for a bluray sled. and the red laser beams looks ok with the standard lens i got from blord, except there is some spatter around the dot, not major, but its a little deformed, like a rectangle on either side if you know what i mean.
