I whipped up a design for a simple 3 point adjustable mount for mirrors and dichros. Working with my machine shop buddies to get a handful of them made for me and then if there's enough interest I think I could convince them to run a batch of these to offer to others.

These would be CNC milled out of 1/16" aluminum sheet and are a little under an inch across with a 1/4" (could be enlarged) hole over which a mirror or dichro can be glued. I'll post pictures when I have some prototypes. Curious how many people would be interested in something like this? Should be able to get them down pretty cheap. Also what sort of mating mount would be most useful? My plan was to cut a piece of aluminum angle stock, drill and tap 3 holes, drill out the center hole to allow the beam to pass through a dichro. Not sure if there's a standard height for this stuff.

I like the idea, but what kind of precision do you get from these? You'll need to use some high-TPI screws to get the precision you need, and they're relatively expensive to buy, and/or need to be made precisely. If you can manage to make them high-precision, you'll have a very nice product on your hands there.
