What's that lense he put there? Is it just a magnifying glass? How come the light beam still comes out straight?

the beam is not straight but you cant see the little difference take a lens ,put it in front of your lser and you will see

Oh is that what that was? lol, I thought that it was someone's name

the lens helps focuses the laser two a very fine point which Annabal's you to light or burn things faster it can cut three layers of pvc tape and burn black paper.

it's a magnifying lens

It looks straight cause its a big lens, the focal point will change over a shorter area with a smaller sized lens.

fawk, we should put our videos on there and put him to shame. I can light a match from almost 40ft away with 2 of mine without a magnifier.
