Nothing Fancy. I was testing out a new prop box for shooting laser pics. I hope you enjoy it!

3 shiny beams revealed...the music background adds some more mysterious power to these as if otherworldly creations;)

More videos of this sort are welcome in the future!

I love this video you put together. What was the fog? and is there a beam stop? I've been thinking about an enclosure for pictures and vid too. Nothing as fancy as yours  the marble base is a great touch :gj:

It's really not that exciting when you see what it is. I just used some sparkly foam packing material and glued it to the inside of a box. The rest is photography magic.

Christ listen to that rain! we never get severe weather here :/

If there is a clap of thunder, it makes the evening news :s

Then again, I hear you've been having some extreme storms over there? Hope you & yours are safe.

Thanks Ped. The night I shot this, we had flooding enough to move several cars around, outside our parking garage. We basically live in a concrete bunker of a loft apartment building. I was safely parked on the 3rd floor, with my windows cracked open for fresh air...I'm not a posh fellow, but membership has it's privileges.

We could basically take a tornado strike head on, and we'd be just fine. We're lucky that way.

Oh! I forgot to mention the fog. I was using what I believe is an ultrasonic humidifier. It's an interesting beast of a device. It lived, it died, mysteriously, it lived again, it died again, and now, it's still kicking so far...I just had it running on full blast just off to the side. What I was going for was a way to make the 405 more visible. You know how they are...even at >600mW!

Cool, thanks for answering that. I been wondering about these ever since I saw Things Tornado Machine. Looks like I will have to acquire one

Yeah, 405 is a unique little wavelength. My 500mw by Daguin can barely be seen at times but is quite powerful a very stable build. Must get some GITD!

If you look in my videos, I have a quart container full of home made glow-water. It's so bright that I can light up the courtyard outside!
