So we had some decent rain here, and since my good camera only likes beamshots with a lot of fog/smoke or rain, I thought I would get some good pictures.

Enjoy :)

Kewl!!! Really like that 445nm shot you took, bright blue bar shooting into the sky :)

-Alex

Thanks :)

It really is a crazy bright blue beam, lol. I tried to use one of the G9 lenses with it, but I'd rather take the power hit and use a 3-element. Such a better beam.

What's even crazier is that my 445 only does around 850mW average with 3-element lens. Can't even imagine what 2.5-3W+ looks like in person.

Very nice shots - I like that you can see the subtle difference between 520 and 532nm. What are the mWs of those lasers? I'm considering a build with one of those 520s, and I'm wondering how beam visibility compares to 532.

The 532nm peaks at around 45mW, stays at 40mW average. Amazing divergence on it, tiny dot even many yards out.

660nm is 200mW
520nm is 75mW
445nm is 850mW
and the 405nm is around 350mW
