...i am TRULY satisfied by the power and quality of this unit (especially for the money) ....

tip: use some thread tape(teflon) on the lense housing threads and the adjuster tightens up VERY nicely...

If you can light matches at 10 feet, you can surely pop balloons over 15 feet! I have a laser that can light matches at 11feet, and it can shred balloons at 25 feet. I'm sure I could go further, but try some even further balloon pops!

BoostCrzy - What did you use to mount the laser to the tripod?

P3240289.jpg

The insulation foam is mounted to the tripod by gluing a camera mounting nut i salvaged from an old digital camera, to its base....then a velcro strap wraps around the whole laser/foam to hold it snugly....allowing me to move the laser around....(in the video i was not using the foam mount)..... ;)

Nice review. I’m sure this has been brought up somewhere in this forum, (I don’t feel like researching) but does the dilda have a focus on it? If so, do you need to tweak it to get it to light/burn/pop? I have a diy red with axis module, and I have to adjust the lens to focus it to do any damage. But I can get it to light/burn/pop easily across long distances as well with a slight turn of the lens.

Did you somehow miss the 17 page topic titled New FOCUSABLE 200mW Red on DX?
