I acquired that shitty pair of galvos that go for $70 or so on ebay a while back and Hastily grew tired of the confines of a sound card. Lots of setup and no portability. So I threw together a device that generates a 60Hz sine wave with varying amplitude: a glorified AC wall adapter.





The following illustrates the wave at ~5[sup]o[/sup] and ~35[sup]o[/sup]:





The two lasers used are my 120mW green and my blu-ray turned down to ~80mW for constant operation.

The green looks pretty with the blu-ray....you ought to try one with the blu-ray and a red laser, or see what it looks like with an argon beam...

leave one axys on a wave sine
and add a speaker uutput to the other so you can get a nice ociloscope

405 and 532 together is probably my favorite combo.

I wish I was electronically inclined enough to make this stuff.

I can't even make a DIY laser. ;D
