Beautiful pics Gismo!! I LOVE the shallow DOF!
+1 for you!

I've been doing a lot of one-line knotwork over the past few years. I've got dozens of them.

They are an excellent focus exercise! It's become a form of meditation for me, as I have a hard time doing the sitting and breathing. I'd much rather draw and breathe.

The world drops away
in the depths of The Circle.

The line,
with no beginning,
and no end,
is The Circle of Life.
The crossings,
are us.

Sorry what?
Haha you wrote "incest" in your description of pictures, so he's poking fun :p

Seriously though those are some pretty damn awesome pictures.

Except the one with the spider. Where is that taken, so I know not to go anywhere near?

Ahahahhahah this is the first time I made that typo. Guess I'll just stick to "bugs".

Thanks everyone.

Eudaimonium, that spider was a jumping spider. It was just as big as your ordinary laser button if not smaller.

Those jumping spiders usually are very friendly, and really fun to watch dart around. Surely one of my favorite spiders.

Bravo to all the impressive photographers in this thread. True talent. :bday:

Thanks Ash, yeah jumpers are my fav spiders too! They look so cute and they like to explore and they jump on my lens constantly. :)

Here another picture of a Dolomedes tenebrosus (Dark Fishing Spider) I took some time ago. No clue how it lost one of it's legs but it was moving around just fine.
