They make safety ware for a reason and the laser you posted is CW not pulsed the design is a little different

Yes but if pulsed since I assume it diode pumped your gains would be maybe doubled were with true pulse only lasers they can easily hit in the kw ranges (assuming there not diode based)

damn you have me looking at wikipedia for all Nd:YAG wavelengths:thanks:

EDIT: you can produce 940nm which can be doubled for 470nm good night!

You can get 473 and 488 but the Dpss process is only 3-5% efficient

Or 70 to 80 Amps at 3 volts not like that psu would be bulky at all :crackup:
