Pieters Laser graphics / 3D laser technology

Hello everyone,

So I finally decided to show my head again on this forum.
Im most active on PL so that explains why my presence here is mostly unknown.

However if you ask on PL about me then most of them know who I am.
I don't make pictures all the time and have waaaaay more impressive stuff to show then these pictures I will post below will actually show.

[Prototype] Realtime motion capture laser 3D model (confirmed working)
Pictures are a bit bad and taken quick.
However this model does work at a nice 30fps and can be controlled in REALTIME! (for live performances and audience interaction)
But here comes the dissapointing part: it's not freeware or can be shared with everyone
anyways enjoy some pictures of it in action, this is model version 0.5:





model 0.2 is recorded on video and has more points and is 30% slower.
Model 0.4 was seen on the pangolin booth in frankfurt

RGB analog laser (800mw total)
LW50k galvo's
25 meter ilda cable *so slight distortions in the graphics and 2% lower output
Pangolin LD2000 pro
Korg nanokontrol
Intel I7 860
Nvidia GTX 260
etc :3

Looks interesting.. Is this something you've created and are selling yourself? Or are you advertising your services? Or just sharing?

I make this all by myself, but with the aid of pangolin hardware.
But I'm surely climbing that ladder of having one of the finest laser graphics.
And no I'm not advertising my services, even though it might seem like it.

This is intended for just sharing what I have done recently
at the moment I'm making the peanut butter jelly time banana on request of bill

Looking good! It's nice to see real creativity.. Keep us posted. Also, you should post info on where your work can be obtained, either by purchase or free sharing.

I do a bit of both, at the moment I have a future project that is for free sharing again later.
I share on the PL forums and not really on the LPF forums *no offense intended*

Off course there is a possibility of purchasing, which mostly consist of requests or big projects.
I do not post my email on forums to avoid so called crawlers.

heh just because I'm bored i'm adding some extra background information about myself.

I'm Pieter, 3ds max user for more then 5 years (since january 2011 it's 5 years)
I now am a laser graphics artist and focussing on laser graphics only now.
(especially the 3D part)

Thank you for the kind feedback, I truly apreciate it.
My experience with the laser industry is very positive, it's friendly, fun and educational.

My mascot is Hatsune miku *as seen in my avatar*
she is a big motivator in my graphics making and also sometimes a little source of inspiration.
She often ends up being an easter egg in my work and projects.
I am also a fan of "her" for clearly since the beginning since she was designed, together with her singing capability.
(she's not from an anime or something)

ah right and I also watch anime, however I haven't watched a single anime in weeks and weeks because of lasers and making laser graphics.
I work long hours and can be considered a perfectionist if I try to speak honest about from what I notice about my own behaviour.

Many of my graphics get finished in less then a day, which make a stunning impression to many on how I can possibly do this so fast and simultaniously and still perform well.
There's no real secret behind this, it's just is the way how I work and the time I always stay up just to finish something (I sleep pretty late).
Anyways for future projects, I hope people enjoy my graphics as much as I do making them.

I'm sure my new kvant spectum 2.3watt can do justice to nyancat.

On my new projector you mean?
it already is on youtube but with recorded with a crappier camera..
there is a quick record with the new camera.
and now i even got a tripod for my iphone 4

Again: both video's are with my 1st RGB laser projector with laserworld galvo's
Now I have a kvant so i will record it again with that thing

I would like to add that my new site is:

At the moment it says "under construction"
But we are working on it.
The CMS, layout is custom, some really cool features coming to the site that has never been offered before in the laser industry too, more on this later.
