As you can see on the BluRay lasers section of our site, the ML BluExtreme x150 is currently going for only $199.99. Compared to around 95% of all the other laser manufacturing companies out there making BluRay burning lasers, our prices are quite good in comparison. With the 10% discount code (LPF10OFF) for all LPF members, the total you pay for the laser, shipped, is only $179.99. Seems pretty reasonable to me...

Other companies that manufacture BR lasers are even more of a scam, WL is a good example with their Sonar .

Your prices aren't bad for some of your BRs, but $339.50 for a 350mW red ? thats just a rip.

Good point... so what, in your opinion, would be a "fair" price for a 350mw MXDL with constant current driver? Bear in mind, though, that these do cost almost $200 just to make, on top of which you have advertising costs of around $20-$35 per conversion, shipping, manufacturing time, etc., etc.... what are your thoughts?

I just did a quick calculation and found that I could make a similar powered laser for $101.43 using a Dorcy Jr host . Thats everything, diode in module, heatsink, host and driver.

Now a justified price for a 350mW red would be about $200-$250 IMO.

-Adam

I'm not saying you sell bad lasers, I'm just saying your prices are a little steep at times, though they used to be worse, at least now you use drivers.

Alright, you've got it - I've created a new coupon code, SC100A, that will give the first 20 customers to use it, $100 off their purchase of this laser :)

How does that sound?

1. What's your point...?
2. Funny you say that, because we actually sold two of these exact units since yesterday morning, when the video went up on YouTube.
