New Argon beam appears more dark blue on camera??

It appears the normal turquoise color in person but on my camera it appears like this! Not that I know much about photography or anything but why does this happen??

I've also noticed that wavelengths generally appear to be of a lower wavelength when taking pictures. For example in my avatar, the laser on the far left is a 445 and appears much blue-r in person than in the picture! (These two pictures were taken with different cameras).
