Sadly the kid doesn't know better than doing the exact thing his dad showed him to do with it and potentially blinding himself.

The worst part of this is that out of those 2.5 million views there must have been at least a handful of idiots that went ahead and bought a similar laser without knowing shit about safety.

Yes that is certain, especially now that lasers are easily available and cheap. In 1970 when I was 8 years old, I learned about lasers and wanted one. Fortunately back then, lasers were only lab lasers and were so expensive that I thought I could never afford to buy one in my lifetime. Look what we have now 45 years later, we have to worry enough about the adults, but I bet there's more than a few 8 year olds out there with lasers now and that is a scary thought.

Wow, IMO there is so much wrong with this video. First he never should have handed his child that laser! Kid is waving it all over the place, I saw a couple bright reflections off the white painted railing on their deck. He never once uses safety glasses. Burning into that cup for instance, the reflection as it burns through and hits the inside was intense. Fighting over the laser, could have reflected off something and blinded one of them. And finally, trying to light his wife's bum? Really? To me, a laser is much like a firearm, never point it at anything you are not willing to destroy! And much like the firearm hobby, it is people like this that can and will ruin it for all of us. And thanks to social media, youtube, etc, millions of people get to see the wrong way to do things.

You know what.....

Im frankly tired of trying to help people like this, you try & try & you still have people doing this. I think I need to agree with a comment I once saw on YouTube:

"Us humans just need to learn the hard way sometimes".

Amen Alex.. I have a soft spot when it comes to kids, this video made me very uneasy. It is so upsetting to see something that may seem so dumb to others be treated with such disrespect! If this were a firearm being waved around like that it would get national attention and have liberals around the world shitting bricks. Like I said before, its going to get very hard to get our hands on lasers in the future and it sucks!!!!

Did anyone else realize that the father basically put a gun (safety off) in his child's hand so he could wave it around??
That's basically what he did. The whole video itself was a waste of time to watch. I'm glad the battery ran out because if he succeeded doing that to his wife she would have a burning hole in her pants and possibly caught on fire.
The wife is the only one with some sense in that family!

Edited, here's my report on youtube:

Issue reported:

Harmful dangerous acts > Other dangerous acts
Timestamp selected:

9:30
Additional details:

Handed dangerous laser into a child's hands. No safety procedure whatsoever.

That pissed me off big time! Oh well, if the dad gets himself blind I won't feel at all sorry.

It may or may not happen. But if the beam hits you in the eye, well, you'll have your entire life to think about why....

oh yeah i saw this a few days ago, i was so pissed when i did. i didnt even know what to do i was so upset XD

we need popular people to do like a laser awareness thing, and talk about the real dangers of lasers. hopefully that would work.

I warned people who said they wanted one and asked where to get it about the dangers of class IV lasers and all the safety precautions roman broke while filming that video. Was told to "stfu killjoy"
But it's okay cuz I got more likes than him, so suck it

Hes the man of the house and hes leading his Young son the wrong way with safety, no problems with letting his son use it but he should be supervising him and telling him rules and consequences etc. not talking to the camera,
His wife has more sense than him when she tells him not to use it indoors .....

The wife is the only one with some sense in that family!

Then she may have had to quickly take them off to put out the fire, and that would probably be in the video too. Imagine what would have happened then, "Man burns wife's ass by setting her pajamas on fire with laser he bought online", this would be headlines everywhere, and the video would have millions more views. It's a good thing it didn't happen, but he is reckless just posting a video like that, if that had happened it could get him arrested, or even bring an investigation from CPS, and that can have disastrous consequences for the whole family.

Extremely foolish behavior. Little kid not only shaking it around but the dad turning his back. What's the odds of him dropping it, flashing his eyes, turning a direction he hears a sound to something that's living and flashing it/them, putting it down in the on position, finding and using without parents permission etc...
The attitude is likely "it won't happen to my kid". How about sending the video to Wicked Lasers for promotion material:( Honestly I think it's sad how some people seem to need to post their life on the Web for everyone to see. You have to be pretty full of yourself to think the rest of the world can't get through the day without you.
I have a married neice with a child who is like this. She is very pretty and talks about things and puts up pics and vids that to me just put her family at risk. You really need to talk about and show pics of all the extra breast milk your are producing and don't know what to do with? You really need to tell everyone where you are going, how long you will be gone and everyone knows where you live? We need to know when you are home alone doing things because your husband isn't home?
I couldn't deal with it so I made it so I don't see her posts anymore and she doesn't know it (not sure what it's called). This day and age I don't understand why someone would show everyone around their house other than having a very prideful haughty attitude of "look at me and how special I am". I sincerely hope that his family doesn't pay the price for his pride.

Completely agree with you. The sad part about it is that he makes literally tons of money by uploading his videos.

I haven't checked out any of his other "stuff". His like won't change mine in any way and it's not good to watch too much of this kind of stuff. Just like talk radio, it just gets you angry about things and that anger can carry into other parts of your life.
I used to listen to talk radio between driving to different jobs listening to it and I realized what it was doing to me so switched to either classical or lite ed to my Kindle read me books. SOOOOOOO much better.
Leaving tomorrow to head back home but have basically spent a week with no tv or radio and it's VERY refreshing. Realize just how much the world has sucked you into its foolishness. Spent time reading and doing some legit IQ tests to try and keep my mind working. I generally score 140+ when I am not in too much kidney pain. Harder to concentrate and then theres the pain meds on top. Going for a walk soon. What I can guarantee you for sure is when you stop moving you start dyeing. Need to keep the body and brain from turning to mush;)

^ I can agree with you there that's for sure. The media can be very poisoning to a mind...so many people get mindlessly sucked into fake TV shows and the falsely depicted lives of celebrities. They don't even see themselves change. They don't challenge what they watch and then regurgitate what they've seen in their daily lives without even processing it.

I watch very little TV and because of this I'm nearly clueless when my friends talk about pop culture references. I'm okay with that though. I'd much rather spend my leisure time screwing around with laser parts or going on a hike. :)

I never liked vloggers either. Saw a girl demonstrating her shower routine, her shower routine!
What's next, showing us how she takes a dump?
People eat that stuff up too. Will watch faithfully eagerly awaiting the next video upload...
