Nice laser, nice price!! I'll be picking up one of those shortly. Did you buy directly from DHOM?

My 1W CNI head "only" does 1.5W.. so 1.8 is super cherry!

Do you think 1.8W was the luck of the draw? I'd be sooo happy with that output!!

Would be awesome if you could capture more beam shots :) :)

Blrock I couldn't tell you for sure if it was luck of the draw for sure but there seems to be an eBay seller selling the same units near the power of mine. The only way to know for sure is to have some other people on the forum buy the same laser and post their results. So I can't tell you that my unit is the same as the other units. I could have just been lucky. I could take some beamshots for you. Let me know what you would want to see.

Thanks electrofreak. I thought about selling it on ebay because of the divergence. If you say it will look good in a projector then thats where its going :). I dont have the money right now to get some galvos or a controller so its just going to sit on my dresser next to the pyrodex gunpowder (which "is" full lol!) and look pretty. I already had a chat with meierlight about my psu and since so many of you said analog is better i requested one. The person i chatted with said its not a problem! :santa:

Very nice I think I will be getting one of these now.
is that is a monster size power supply or am I just being critical.
Did you basicly say they have a analog model for the same price ?
and now there are other sellers selling the same model on ebay
or the same seller, do you have a link to to seller you bought it from ?

Just got an email back from them at Meierlight. They guaranteed 1600-1700mW for $850.....That's nice power. Going to order one


UPDATE:

Just bought one....will let you know output when it arrives.
