Not a problem.

It seems like, at least to me, those 300mw 650nm dtr modules are perfect for trapping. Both laser i built with them work great at it. It was easier than i expected. Apparently it is difficult for alot of people, but that was the first thing i did with my first build, and got it to work after a few minutes of messing around.

What a week!

I finished the SAiK build and it's to be LPMed on Sunday!

I just found out that my two new Grooves will be in next week! And, so will my new polished MS-SSW!!

And, my PL520 diode is here, as are my batteries!

Oh, it's getting exciting now!

I'm digging the Saik..good looking hosts. Already got the SL C6, SL stainless (sick), and a SL S4 is on the way. Ordered a SS C3 from fasttech.. very exciting.

Is that greenie in the above pic a module? Doesn't appear to be the 520.

That is indeed the PL520! I got it pre-driven @ 300mA and shoved it into my MXDL heatsink to see what it looks like. It is just a bit more blue than my 532. Comparison beamshots to come...

I finished both of my hand polished Kryton Gooves today!

Here's the 405nm S06J @ ~485mA

My Dog! This thing is tremendously efficient!! I may tune it down some just to keep it alive longer!

And here's the 9mm 445nm @ ~2.45A!

Look at that!

So, now I have >3W in 9mm, and 675mW 405nm Kyrton Grooves!
