My lax behavior has earned me one bad eye. But that was when a laser was being passed between two other people and I got hit in my left eye with a 1.5w .

Ouch. I can't even imagine what getting an eye scorched with a laser feels like.

It's stopped getting better about a week ago. Kind of hit a recovery wall. Now I have a big cloud in my left eye. At first it was blank white. Now I can see colors and a bit of movement, but that it.
It was my custom wicked laser pen with a momentary side switch. When a friend passed it to another, the button was hit, and bam, direct hit to my left eye. No glasses. It was on fire for days.

That's awful, especially at that power I'm not surprised it felt like it was burning for days after. I bet that friend is going to be a lot more careful with lasers from now on.
