A show our company did for our local Pink Floyd tribute.. sold out! This is the "On the Run" sequence..



The band apparently doesn't believe in dress rehearsals, so we had little time to program real syncing.. the audience doesn't seem to mind though ;).

Lasers are 1x 1.5W 532nm and 2x 1W 445nm, all controlled by QuickShow. Did pretty good considering the relatively low powers.

I hate Pink Floyd but nice show considering it was on the fly....and the crowd certainly appreciated it :) nice job.

Are they using galvos to make this show ?
(I am new to laser shows and i would like to make one :D)

how did you make sure it was safe?

Good question! Safety is ensured by carefully making sure that no beam enters an audience area. This footage was taken from the top balcony of the venue, all beams are terminated on the ceiling, at no point are beams allowed to scan the audience.


@Jimdt: Yes, galvos are used in these shows.
