Laser Time Warp

Horrendous youtube quality on this one so I may reupload elsewhere but for now heres the video.

It's a very simple effect, very old effect as well. All thats needed is some black reflective plastic and a laser powerful enough to burn it. I used my over spec 50mW DL module, black plastic chassis on a joystick and a sheet of white paper so the effect showed clearer.

Btw, what do you have to do to get the "show in high quality" on youtube on your videos? :-/

this effect can also be done with silicone on  a mirror. and I find that static bags work well too, fold on in half (4 layers of plastic) and place it on a mirror and shine a laser at it.

It pretty much works with anything that melts under a laser and is reflective enough.But why the mirror? :-/
