Yeah that is simply stunning. I cant imagine what it would be like in real life. I wonder how much it would take to set all that up? :-?

Of course it would be legal. You only need a 5 mW laser to do that. Its some type of projector and software that traces and captures the movement of the beam then projects it onto the building.

You can download it. search around and you will find it. I had it working on my windows box once. Didn't have a projector, so it just showed up on the screen, but very cool.

I have seen this, it is very cool and they had to work out that the building would be empty of humans before they did this so they did not upset or blind somebody inside.
There are free downloads available of the software to do with too and I DO beleive I am seeing variations of it in use on a few commercials on TV nowdays.

That video is actually the reason I found you guys and got interested in lasers! Next time I walk across a $3000 projector I can afford, that's what its goin to!

please not that this is NOT a laser projector!!! it is just a high powered LCD projector! the only thing laser-related is the green pointers they use to "draw" the patterns on the building! anyway yeah this has been brought up alot, but it is very cool!
