I Was Gifted a Dove Prism

I shared one of the prism posts I made recently with some workmates...and they went out and bought me a dove prism based off one of Paul's comments (TY PAUL!). Yes, I had a birthday - they don't just buy me nice optics out of the blue But they are awesome people! :beer:

I have not had a lot of time to play with it - but for the time-being, here I am checking it out! I hope to have some time to set up some deliberate shots soon - utilizing the TRUE purpose of this geometry, but for now - just some "freestyle" fun

Looks like a nice one, Lew. Happy Birthday. Try looking down the long axis and rotate the prism. You will see the view rotate twice for every single rotation of the prism. Pretty cool, huh?

Thank you for the B-day love and the rep...I honestly do not know how that number is computed - I get + is good and - is not...and know its unmoderated...and you got to spread it around, etc. But 1 million!? I'm rich! LOL

I don't need to fully understand the math to appreicate the sentiment, though - so THANKS!

Three years ago 200 was a high rep here. I had a rep of about 60. It is now 5 million.
