Here are a few pics of me playing around with a selenite sphere and my 405nm laser 301 and my 532nm laser 303.

I never heard of Selenite before. Is that similar to those uranium marbles? :kewlpics:

Not really as the crystal is fiberous and produces a tiger's eye like effect with light. instead of an all around dispersion

I have a few Gypsum crystals if you want one PM me. Selenite is a type of gypsum. It's really cheap. I can send you one for cost of shipping.

I wonder if I could sand these down into a round ball. I may have to try that.

Thick carpets are no defense against planet destroying power;) Sorry, I'm pretty sick in bed and am not doing well at the moment. I feel the opposite of my post.

Oooooh I really really like that multicolored picture. It's a very nice picture. Reminds me of a BombPop (Popsicle you get from the Icecream Man)
