Hi all, I have got here some fluorescent minerals. So I took my 405nm 12x blu-ray laser and took some photos. They are quite nice, but not perfect because my camera don't really pick up the color of 405nm light.
The ruby glows much more in a bright dark red, than it looks like on the photos.
Enjoy! :)

Here are the Minerals unter normal light. You can see the red color of the ruby without UV light, but with it, it is really glowing bright.
The other look without UV light just like normal stones.

So let's stard with the worst photo first ;).
It is the ruby. On the photo it doesn't looks really interesting. If you see it on your own, it has a really nice dark red coulor.

The next photo is a photo of hackmanite. It glows Orange. The effects looks quite nice. You can see there next to it another mineral. I don't know what this is, but it glows orange like the hackmanite or a bit deeper. Like a mixture of red and orange with a bit more orange ^^. It has a nice "special" effect. If you shine on it with a 405nm laser, it saves the light. So if glows after you turned of the laser for a second. But i don't know what it is :/

This one is flourite. The effects is a bit hard to see on the photo, but it glows in a bright blue. I think like a mixture of 445nm light and 473nm.
Quite cool but hard to see.

And the last one is the most epic! It is glowing bright in a pink color. I really like it :) .

Thanks :)
I have bought them here: *click*

It was the article number: 95 068
It's a mixture of some uv minerals. But not all glow under 405nm. I would need a shorter wavelenght.
