Ok, I don't have a fogger or anything yet so I had to use deodorant which the particles stay in the air for a surprisingly long time. Oh and the parts still do not have a case and the laser is from my 75mW green pointer. This x/y scanner is not complete yet, in fact far from it.

But this is what I have so far! Enjoy.

Sorry again for rubbish video quality and the stupid divX watermark.

Great attempt Lambo, that scanner has some great potential, now do yourself a favour and buy yourself a cheap fogger, it will be the best investment you will ever make , apart from your lasers of course. You will wonder how you ever lived without one, when you have one.

Please go and get one when you can, I would love to see more of this in some real fog. Good stuff :)

Apart from playing about with it I only plan to do family shows so I am looking at that smoke-in-a-can from maplin.

Lamborgini8 - a good fogger is fairly cheap ! you can get a REALLY nice one for $40 or less, usually, and it beats the hell outta the smoke in a can stuff - CHEAPER in the long run, too ! You buy four cans of smoke, you have bought a fogger that you can use for ANYTHING !

Hmm well I have already spent my last 2 months wages on parts for this laser and I still need to buy another red and green module and casing for the scanner (which I will get tomorrow).

I got some of that smoke in a can from maplins. It's okay but I am just using it for beam alignment. When my scanner is done I will get the cheap maplin fogger.

There is a guy on ebay selling lots of 2 sound lab foggers, they are customer returns......As far as I can tell customers don't read manuals, they switch the thing on don't wait for it to heat up and assume it isn't working....that is how I got 2 working foggers for £16 delivered.
*the above implies no guarantee, it is just what I found when I decided top take a chance*
