Finally got a fog machine (520nm vs 532nm)(635nm vs 650nm)

Here are some pictures I took while trying out my new fog machine.

The lasers you are seeing are:
405nm minisaber v2 516mw,
445nm C8 2.3W,
520nm Solarforce L2T Limited Edition 140mw ,
532nm C3 80mw,
638nm MXDL 743mw,
650nm Wicked Laser E2 70mw

Now for some Lasers



This one I tried not using a tripod with long exposure and it didn't work out.... but it really shows the difference in wavelength (520nm vs 532nm and 635nm vs 650nm)

The order goes from left to right

405nm, 445nm, 520nm, 532nm, 635nm, 650nm


This one also shows the differences very well. I didn't shake this time either

405nm, 445nm, 520nm, 532nm, 635nm, 650nm



Finally I took these pictures to demonstrate focusing




Updated with diffraction grating fog shots :)

I am using 405nm, 445nm, 520nm, 532nm, 635nm.... can you pick them out!

Wow! Awesome photos!

I posted some photos yesterday of my lasers and I playing around with a fog machine. They came out great!

Do fog machines set off fire alarms? Would be nice to have this to put a tad bit of smoke in my dorm.

I lucked out and got this one. It said it leaked so I took a gamble on it and when I took it apart the nozzle where the hose is connected at the bottom of the reservoir tank was loose!

You can hold the button down for about 20-30 seconds at a time, I call it a fog burst. I was in a room about 15'x20' and it only took one burst to fill it.... and it lasts a good 15-20 min. Two was a little over kill. But it doesn't use that much.

So how much juice is a burst? Im thinking of getting one, sorry if im being a bit annoying :D

I have learned through many hours of use, a fog machine has not set off fire alarms in my home or at work, set off the sprinkler systems (thank God). I got my fog machine in Sept 2012 and have used approx 1 1/2 qts of fog fluid. I have taken thousands of photographs in that time frame. I may use a few fluid ounces in each of my photo shoots. As mhemling pointed out, it does not take much fog to help make the beams very visible.

Thanks It was pretty crazy to see i never thought it would look that cool.... fog machine makes all the difference ;)
