So I got a tripod setup for my lasers going, and since its snowing out I decided to try to get some good shots now that I can do long exposure outdoors.

Also, getting my camera to focus to infinity was a pain in the rear. On the plus side though, the -15 C temperature extends my 445's duty cycle by a significant amount. :D

Also, heres a video of me popping a giant balloon and a timelapse of my laser in the snow:

Nice pictures Blarg! :D

My favorite one is the 3rd picture, if you look closely enough near the beam, you can see the snow-flakes light up blue

Im just amazed my cranky neighbor didn't come out and complain. XD

I tried getting pictures with my ebay pens but they weren't bright enough against the sky. I guess I'll just have to buy some more powerful lasers. Oh darn. :p

Nice. You've got balls using it outside in those conditions. Maybe I'm just too much of a sissy but I don't even like using mine outside much for fear condensation will form and then damage the lens.

Rep'd.

I've had it outside a couple of times, the lens seems well made and I've never had condensation form. Got a few drops of water on the lens from time to time but gently cleaning it with a q-tip does a fine job removing water without damaging it.

And I figure worst comes worse the lens gets ruined, I can just buy a new one. Not exactly economical, but I think my picture taking is worth it :)

Hmm...the links work (awesome shots!), but I don't see the pics in the thread, nor the video. Am I the only one?
