LOL! Yes! They make a nice "POP", fill the room with the smell of burned black powder, and don't send shrapnel around the room. The ring caps are louder, but are harder to pop.

The explosive in "FUN SNAPS" is Fulminate of Mercury. It's also known as a 'Contact Explosive'. They need to be banged on with something hard or thrown against something hard, to get them to explode. Merely heating them with a laser really lessens the effect you can get with these................rob

It's hard to believe that anything Mercury can be sold here anymore. Mercury Fulminate is quite sensitive and corrosive.
I thought it was a binary device with rocks coated with different compounds.
