Heh no kidding. Mine's setup downstairs in my office/work area where it can pretty much stay all the time.The PSU that blew up weighed about half of what this thing weighs. I've seen a few like the old on on fleabay for decent prices but at the time I needed one and daguin made me a very nice deal on it.
The weather is looking good this weekend so I may suck it up and haul it out. It'll give me a chance to fix an act of stupidity I found from the previous home owner out in the garage I've been meaning to. When I was first looking into an argon I read they can draw up to 20A. In looking for a circuit that could handle it I found one in the garage. When I traced where it went I found the wires in an open *metal* (it's required by code) box. At least when they removed the outlet they cut the wires so there wasn't bare wires hanging out but should the end touch the box it could arc and cause a fire. Needless to say that breaker is off with a "DO NOT TURN ON" label taped to it. I bought a 20A outlet and the proper cover but never got around to installing it since the PSU only draws ~11A and I noticed that the dedicated washer outlet is rated 20A as well.
