DX 200mW Red Tested on Meter

Got my DX 200mW Focusable Red & tested it on the Kenometer!

It does indeed put out 200+mW! I shot a quick vid of the laser being metered so you could see it yourselves.

How about a test on the DX200 green with an IR filter? :-/

Wow, they both output around 200mw, you should try and find an ir filter for the 200green, then we can see what it really outputs in green.

I cant believe that that 200mw focusable one actually outputs 200mw ;D

Y'know I thought I'd posted that as part of the big Kenometer test, but I see I never did. I put an IR filter in front of the DX200 Greenie and it dropped about 28-30mW, so I'd say that much IR is coming out. It diverges a lot though, because the closer I got to the meter the higher the reading without the IR filter. Photons are photons though when it comes to burning, so I'll take that extra power regardless of the wavelength.

And yes, you can link the vid to DX. I'd do it myself, but I've really gotta get back to work here!

Mine still says waiting for supplier!! :'( :'( and yet they shipped my true 50 replacement and they haven't even received the one I sent back yet!! But I guess they can track it with UPS
