I just finished the build a few minutes ago. Its pretty neat! I'll probably end up selling it, as I don't have much use for it, but it sure was fun to build :cool:

Looks like you did a very refined job on that GOOEY GUS. What is the mW out-put? phoenix77 ;) :cool:

My guess is about 80mW... Its running at 100mA right now. I wont be able to measure the output until tomorrow most likely (new power meter coming... yay!)

I kept thinking something was wrong with it because I'm so used to my 170mW blu-ray. I kept thinking the current was really low but I checked it and its right at 100mA ;D ;D

he cooked his CCD good ;D

i've damaged the CCD in my camera too - stupid lasershow scanner :p (but not that bad)

I actually got my new scientech power meter today so I got a chance to do power readings on both lasers. The dilda-ray is almost exactly at 100mW and the 6x is at 180mW.

Heres a picture... its a bit blurry but you get the point (read it by using the 0-3 scale)

ok one question,but not about the laser.
Why does your avatar have a black man on there,if your white?
I always get confused if your a white man or a black man.

Why does it matter? Scopeguy has a dancing alien for his avatar. Do you get confused about that too?

no. its just i thought he was black,then i look at his pics and hes white.

About the Avatar, could it be that GOOEY GUS & SCOPEGUY20 have their Avatars mixed up just to confuse ALL of us & that either one or both are REALLY BLACK, DANCING ALIENS? ;D I think that daguin had it correct, "WHY DOES IT MATTER"! phoenix77 ;) :cool: PS, They might actually both be aliens awaiting species reassignments, & now since we're onto them, we ALL may be assimilated, after all we ARE irrelevant! ;D ;D ;D I will now ZIP MY LIP :-X
