I was wanting to do something with lasers too, but the front of my house is flat, so shining it out a window won't do anything :(

Was thinking I might have to settle for and outdoor beam show, it's humid enough to not need any fog, even with only 1.4Wish RGB out the front.

can i borrow a tap? sorry for being so needy i seem to have misplaced mine

also a few questions about lsx: what version do you have and what DAC are you using with it? i will be getting lsx but i cant decide between lite or basic/...

Damn I just mispelled KEG in my rep comment  Happened right before I lost the tap!? I think I have the basic version but I'm honestly not positive, can't seem to find which one I'm using on the splashscreen nor the 'about LSX' dropdown menu. I bought mine used on the forum & I'll be damned if I can't find the old thread from it now....

Settling with a beamshow isn't settling at all IMO, especially with that much power in thick, humid air! :san::beer::san:

I added another video to the OP and I'm noticing that these short animations appear 'blinkier' than they actually are. I'm sure this is the same reason why watching television through a video camera looks different (framerate vs framerate) - where my camera isn't processing the video exactly as fast as the animations are playing. Some are quicker than others but overall it looks slower. While I know my projector doesn't display the fastest scans it's not as slow as it shows on my point & shoot digital camera

x2

It was foggy out here a few nights ago. I just had to play "In the Air Tonight" outside. That is a good show that came with LSX. :D I went with the Pro SW and Basic DAC.

BTW, where did you find those Christmas shows?

You'll find the LSX manual in the CD you got when you bought it. At least that's where mine was. and I could have sworn there was a basic tutorial somewhere too that will get you up and running at least with the basics.

I bought my software & DAC used from another member on this forum & I didn't get those directions. No big deal, but thanks to Bennet now I have them ;) I also haven't seen too many tutorials on LSX, if you should happen to stumble across any please share a link :D  :san:
