I use a 50mW green laser pointer in the in the back of my Farm House
to see if it is raining or drizzling at night...
You can see the raindrops as they fall through the beam...

Nice! I was wondering the other day if beams were visible through rain during a Blink-182 concert. It would have been sweet to smuggle one in there. Maybe you should have opened up the window though since it kept reflecting off the drops. I like that incoming storm vid. You really did catch the beginning of it greatly.

Edit: I just read your post babhaha, OMG! It works when it snows???? I'm going to make a video of that this winter for sure!

Beams in the rain are so awesome! I stand out on my front porch and play in the rain with my greeny and red. All of those drops of water being radiated with high intensity Electrons.

Someone needs to Haiku this.

Lets see.

Dark rainy foggy night
Piercing green goo
Raindrops bursting in the sky
Frogs playing in the water

There

Sorry didnt mean to hijaak this thread. Lasers in the rain we need to write a song.

Just lasering', lasering' in the rain. · Dancing in the rain. · I'm happy again. · I'm lasering and dancin' in the rain. · Dancin' and lasering' in the rain

OK Im going to bed now. Way to much fun and way to much "other" stuff tonight.
