Im looking at Project enclosures and need to know how tall the tallest item in the 20k kit from scanpro is.

Also...what is a nice cheap medium to project onto/through?

Thanks,
-Brooks

The scanner block is the tallest at ~2.2". You'll probably need more space though (at least 3" to be safe) because the connectors for the scanners tend to jut out above the scanner bock. Best to wait until you have it assembled the way you like it first.

dont buy or design an enclosure until you have all your parts

then you can lay everything out and get an enclosure the correct size

I guess you wasted your metaphorical breath there then.

My scanPro 20 is mounted to a 1/4" Alum plate. My tallest part is a galvo connector ~3 1/4" above the table. YMMV.

Hi,

The manual here contains a drawing with measurements of the scanner mounting block
