First one galvos are made by phenix technology (slower model of third galovs), and are overpriced by Ebay seller. (spacelas has them for much much cheaper - usd88)

Second one are from Laserworld which you should avoid as much as possible (all data is very exaggerated).

The third ones are best of all three.

I second the DT suggestion. I have a pair of the DT 40 Pro Wide scanners and i can never run out of good things to say about them. The only "better" choice would be the scanpro50's(for graphics), but they cant scan at 90+ degrees like the 40 pro wides can.
Then there are the CT scanners, but that's another topic all together.

DTs are very good, but they are also the most expensive Chinese brand so they should be good. If a person is interested in a good value, the spacelas units are quite decent. They're perfect entry-level galvo sets. No complaints at all with my PT-20s, and the output is every bit as clean as my set of DT-25s.

Howdy All I'm looking at the DT-40 WIDES and at $550 they are a good chunk of change so
I would like to hear from other people that have them or know more than me about them,
I have heard that the chinese models can self destruct under the wrong input. has any one blown up this model ?
Thanks and Have a good one :D

I have the DT 40 Wides and they are the best set of scanners I have ever used. They can fill a small room allot easier than any other set I have owned. I purchased my set from Lasershowparts and they tuned them down to 30k. If you are going to be using the scanner in a smaller room it really makes the difference to get the WIDES. I can scan some shows at 90+ degrees. If you have the $$$ I would go with them.

DTs are the best Chinese brand, but they cost more.. I highly recommend them if you have the cash.
