Hello

I received few days ago my 445nm diode. I test it with a Aixiz acrylic lens (not great but I don't have glass lens). Before, I had two 6x bluray diode. I keep a bluray diode to combine with the 445nm, but i should remove the bluray diode. When I cut its beam, it changes nothing. :D

I'm very satisfied with the diode but now, I don't have enough red. I don't have enough money to buy 635nm but I should change the lens to have more power. Which lens do you recommend ?

Projector caracteristics :
Galvos Laser wave 20kPPS
2 diodes LPC-818 658nm (about 300-400mw)
100mw green 532nm Laser wave
1 diode 445nm (casio beamer)

Someone had to put a 445 in a RGB. Not enough Red ??? :) Good luck.
Looking good on your pictures -- Nice work.

Very cool build with the 445!

Getting the red to match the brightness of your blue and green is going to be a challenge - 660 nm will not cut it, not even if you had a full watt of it in there. I suppose the only viable option is to go for 635 with at least a few 100 mW of power to get things balanced to the eye.

The white in your beamshots looks amazing though - is that a camera thing, or did you turn down the green and blue to match?

BTW: would you mind sharing the ILD frames you used to create those beamshots?

To have a good white, I adjust powers with the software HE LASERSCAN. The green is set at one-half, red and blue are at the max.
I can the you the frames but it's very heavy !

Excellent. :D
Did you have problems with the width or divergence of the 445nm beam? Fac?

I was afraid by this divergence but in beam show, there isn't problem. Pictures are taken at about 6m, but I'll test it at 20m for the Laserfreak meeting at home, 26th june. I'll post photo.

What Driver are you using? I have a 445 here but no driver or dichro to combine with 473 :(.

For sure.. but it doesn't take much to be more beautiful than a laser pointer. All of my projectors are more beautiful than laser pointers, even the single-color systems. Laser shows are it for me.. I have a couple pointers I built but I hardly use them.

Man, I want one of these now! :)

But I do not have the knowledge or confidence to build one yet.... :(
