Hey Folks,

just a simple question - we all know that adding a bit of 532nm to 405nm will result in a much nicer Blue.
i dont know how you do this, maybe you use color correction in your software or so
but what i want is to be independent from software, ergo setting this as "the standard"

So is there a way, to split the analog modulation signal from the br and then connecting it to the green too?
but adding a resistor or something in betwen to lets say for example adjust it to '5%' ???

I'm not sure you can get away with such a simple solution.

Best way to do it built a circuit around a 'summing opamp' (google that).

I'm quite sure there will be more interest in this kind of circuit when more people start adding BRs to their RGB projectors - Popular DACs (e.g. Easylase) have 4 colour channels (RGBI) but most software does not let the user map a new color to the I channel. (The I channel is meant for single color projectors and the software should compute the intensity of the RGB singal an put it out at the I channel. )

Hi Gary, good to meet you here. I'm building a color mapping function into my software that will allow the user to map the RGB components of the color definition to the DAC's output channels (RGBI for most USB DACs) in any thinkable way. I'll be using the I channel for the BR laser (I for Indigo ;) ). So colorB will be mapped to 100% outputB, 100% outputI, and 10% outputG.
