Did the fog machine freak out your computer before you added the DMX controller?

Yes, it also caused my Moncha (When I had it) to disconnect. What's strange is both these devices use a FTDI USB interface. Maybe the FTDI interfaces are just more sensitive than others ...

Based on the fact that you have tested them with your DMX card, I'd say you're in the clear..

Yep, I just sent the license file to you.

Just a note, the alpha version that is linked above is not very stable at this point so you should use the version that is on my webpage (1.8.1.15).

I released a new version of Spaghetti today. 1.9.0.0 Beta 1. It is beta until the tires have been kicked around a bit. However, it is stable so I wanted to release it in Beta form. This version supports multiple projectors and TTL and DMX controlled devices.

While this version is in Beta I will begin working on some other cool new features. One of the new features will be very nice for those who like beam shows.

Enjoy!

Just a quick suggestion for those that have apparates that produce EMP from power line (and disturbe other apparates) ..... if you don't want to buy complete filters (those little boxes with 3 wires at one side and 2 wires at the other, usually not cheap :p), you can get the same thing, also if open-frame, or at least the needed coils and capacitors for build them, from old PC psu units (also burned, the filters usually are the more resistant thing of all the PSU :p) ..... sometimes is made on the psu pcb, and you need to desolder the components and rebuild it on a protoboard or similar, some other time is integrated directly in the power socket (if you're lucky to found these ones, cause usually only professional units uses this type), some other time are in the form of a little PCB soldered directly on the power socket, like these ones

attachment.php

I use them in a lot of applications, with good results :D

I ended up buying one of the little black boxes, but it didn't fix the problem strangely...

Anyways, I ordered a new sound card from Dealextreme on the 5th and it's already on its way (Left on the 7th :D )

Fastest shipment from DX so far for me!

Once I gather funds back together, I will be buying Spaghetti :)

Do you mean the disturbs ? ..... have you checked for ground connection, and for ground loops ? (if the apparate that become disturbed is high-impedance, this make it very sensitive)
